Hello, I'm Robby

I’m a Registered Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner offering counselling for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, grief, relationship challenges and life transitions.

People often come to therapy knowing something isn’t working, but not necessarily knowing why. My work goes beyond talking about what happened. Together, we can notice the patterns, sensations and responses that keep showing up and create space for something different to emerge.

Counselling can support you to:

~ Find relief from trauma, anxiety and overwhelm

~Understand patterns that keep repeating

~Move through grief, loss and major life changes

~Feel less stuck or disconnected from yourself
~Build greater capacity for difficult emotions and stress

~Develop more choice in how you respond

I’m committed to helping you feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more able to move through life with greater ease.

Somatic Experiencing® ~ We pay attention to what’s happening in the body, not just the story, to support regulation and create more room for change.

Experiential & Expressive ~ Sometimes insight comes through doing, sensing, creating or noticing - not only through talking.

Parts Work ~ We can explore the different parts of you with curiosity rather than judgement, especially when one part feels stuck, protective or overwhelmed.

Person-Centred ~ Therapy should feel collaborative, respectful and paced in a way that works for you.

Practical & Integrative ~ I draw from different approaches depending on what is most useful in the moment, rather than forcing therapy into one method.

My Counselling Approach

Therapy conversation

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change?

Counselling and therapy can help you better understand what’s happening, reconnect with your strengths, and find new ways forward.

Together, we can explore patterns that no longer serve you, build greater self-trust, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

                                         What to Expect in Therapy

A place to begin...you don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to start. We can begin with what feels most present.

More than talking...therapy may include conversation, body awareness, noticing patterns, imagery, creativity, or other experiential approaches depending on what feels useful.

At your pace...you stay part of the decision-making. We can slow down, shift direction, or focus on what feels most important as we go.

There’s no right way to do therapy. We’ll find a way of working that fits you.
